How do i change my shut down sound?

don't tell me to go to control panel and select what you want to change, i want to make my own custom shut down sound. i have a sound recorded and i want that as my shut down soundHow do i change my shut down sound?
first copy your sound file to c:\WINDOWS\Media\



Then goto control panel and select what you want to change ;)



Sounds like you already know how to do that so I will not elaborate. The default location in windows xp for the sound files is c:\windows\Media this will cause them to show up in that drop down list. I'm not sure if you have another OS if the location is the same or not.
