im a Christian, and im a little confused about my sexuality right now myself
but i think this experience is good cause i can learn..
i mean, there is this guy at school i like and it frustrates me!

its unfair.. im going to hell, because i like a guy at school?

Christians are not exempt from sexual sin. If you are such a person who has fallen into fornication, adultery, pornography, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, or any other sexual deviation, then you need to stop. You need to confess your sins to the Lord and break off your relationships that lead you or tempt you into further sin. This may be hard to hear, but it is what is necessary.
The sexual drive is a very powerful one. It is so strong that it can alter a person's thinking and emotions. It can harden the heart and move us to irrational and sinful decisions. God has created sex for the marriage bed and for there alone. He wants you to be pure in mind and body, reserving the sexual union for the proper context of marriage so that you might properly honor God and your spouse. Failure to do this is to commit grievous sin. But all is not lost.
There is forgiveness in Christ
All of your sexual sins can be forgiven. The blood of Christ is too great to be defeated by your sin. Jesus paid a great price on the cross (1 Pet. 2:24). He shed His blood and gave His life and if you are a Christian, then you have been bought with a great price. You are not your own and the Lord always longs to fellowship with you (1 Cor. 1:9). All you need to know is that you must confess your sin to God and repent of it. This means you stop doing it. You are called by God to purity, not to sexual immorality.
* 1 Cor. 6:18, ';Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.';
* Eph. 5:3, ';But do not let immorality or any impurity or greed even be named among you, as is proper among saints.';
* Col. 3:5, ';Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.';
* 1 Thess. 4:2, ';For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God.';
The Greek word for ';immorality'; is porneia which means illicit sexual intercourse, i.e., fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, etc. The English word ';pornography'; is derived from this Greek word. So, you can see that God desires your holiness. After all, this is why you are a Christian, to honor God, glorify Him, and live for Him.
To repeat, if you are in sexual sin, stop it, confess it, break off tempting relationships and situations, and seek the Lord. If you fall again, then go to the cross again. Never give up going to Jesus and receiving the forgiveness that you need. Never think that the Lord Jesus will stop loving you. Never doubt Him. He loves you and knows your struggle.
Then, after you have repented, see if you can find someone to whom you can be accountable. Find someone trustworthy and have them pray with you regularly. It is so true that sometimes beating sexual sin cannot be done alone. Sometimes we need the strength of the body of Christ.
What if I don't repent of my sin?
If you are a Christian involved in sexual sin then you know that the Holy Spirit has been convicting you. If you feel no conviction, then you are either not really saved or are so hardened by the sin you've been committing that you are close to God taking your life. This is the case in 1 Cor. 5:5 where a man was having sex with his father's wife and he would not repent. Paul said, ';I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.'; Rest assured that God takes this seriously. He will take your life to save your soul. This is a loving move on God's part.
If you are reading this, then the Lord has directed you here because He wants you to know about this issue. If you are in such sin, you know what the Lord requires of you. If you are not in this sin, then thank the Lord for His mercy and continue to seek the Holiness of the Lord.Christians..... and GAYS?

You're normal and natural, just like the rest of us. There is nothing wrong with being gay, with having mature gay relationships and desires, any more than there is anything wrong with having mature heterosexual relationships and desires. I repeat, you are normal. NORMAL. Your sexuality and your religion are mutually exclusive. I know many, many gay christians who are perfectly happy with themselves, as they should be.

That is a bad spirit that you should not let yourself submit to. Satan is a deceiver. God didn't make you this way, you are choosing to become this. God made you to worship Him, point blank. There is a lady at my church who lived that lifestyle for 25 years. She has since repented and gotten out of it and would never go back. Her life was hell on earth, but since getting right with the Lord she has been blessed, so blessed. So get that cast ot of you. Tell that demon with the authority that God gave you to GO! in Jesus name! And keep doing it until it's gone. It may not be a prayer that's answered the first time or the second. But if you keep on in faith, it will go.
The majority of Christians aren't going to understand this, and are only going to scream into your face about how you chose it, it's a sin, you can change if you choose, yada yada yada.

There's this guy I see at church, and he's a complete flaming homosexual. He wears tight pink shirts, headbands for his long hair, and even makeup sometimes. He does it to prove to people that he doesn't care if they judge him, he's completely happy with himself and he's got enough courage to not hide that.
I'm gay myself, and I make no effort to hide it. It's just how I am, and I don't plan on changing ever.

Let me try to explain the Christian perspective a little differently and then you chose your own path.
All of us have flaws and sinful inclinations. You may not like these comparisons, but please just try to follow. The crack addict doesn't like the fact that she has an addictive personality. The kleptomaniac says he just can't stop picking things up. The gossip says she can't stop gossiping. Another guy says, I wish I stop spending all my time looking at heterosexual pornography online. Most honest Christians, my friend, have these internal conflicts. Actually they are healthy.
You have to decide for yourself whether you believe your activity is sinful, just like the gossip. If you decide that God made you gay, and he's happy with you, then you need to find your way through life. If you believe that it is a sin, then you need help, just like the rest of us sinners need help. There are places and people that offer help. Search it out.
Your life is yours. You must choose. To quote the knight from Indiana Jones, Last Crusade, all I can suggest is that you, Choose wisely.

In Genesis God made a person to be a helper for Adam. He could have chose to create a male, but he chose to create a female. He also could have created another male, but he didn't.
Romans 1:21-26 spells it out.
Your statement about being unable to change yourself is true. It's hard to change your way of thinking when you've chosen to think those thoughts for however number of years since you made the decision. But God can help you, if you are willing.

It's like this my friend... the Bible does say that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. I'm a straight male, and i'm not denying that you may be born with stronger desires for men, than women... however that is no excuse. Why i say that is it can be argued that those addicted to drugs are born with chemical imbalances that make them more suceptable to addiction, same with pornography. One can also say that people of all colors and creeds have been born with a higher likelyhood to commit violence than you or I, even murder. Those people were born with those negative traits as well, yours just so happens to be homosexuality. It's hard but what the Bible does promise is no matter what if you perservere and not given to these sinful desires that you will be rewarded in Heaven. Stay strong in Christ my friend, take care.

The view of the Catholic Church is that having homosexual attraction and tendencies is not a sin in itself. But to choose to act on your feelings is where the sin comes in. Just like choosing to have sex with a girl before marriage is a sin, because you are acting on your feelings and not out of love for the other person.

You are not going to go to hell because you have feelings for somebody, but you can choose to not act on those feelings, and that is what the Church suggests you are not forced to have homosexual actions with someone and to say that you have to degrades your dignity as a person-implying that you don't have your own free will-everyone is capable of being in control of themselves, and choosing their own actions.

To be honest i have a really hard time imagining God sending someone to hell for something they cannot control,i know this is a unpopular belief.Im sorry but none of us have the right answer,i wish i knew what to tell you.all i can say is talk to God,be a good and faithful servant and most importantly be who you are,living a life that isn't true to yourself will bring you further away from his plan for you
Reading this brought tears to my eyes! I feel so bad that you have to live in fear. It is so wrong that people view homosexuality in such a cruel way. You can't help how you feel. Just be who you are! and don't worry about going to hell...if there is a God, why would he make you that way and then punish you for it? it doesn't make sense.

There are many debates concerning whether a person is born gay, I know that people are not born gay.....Let me tell you how I've come to this conclusion...A baby is born not knowing anything about their sexuality, whether they are male or female, every thing that a child learn in life is taught to them from infancy stage....Now, tell me how in the world can it be that you are born gay?....What has happened is that you choose to let your feminine side dominant your masculine genes and this could have happened at the early developmental stages in your life.....You became more attracted to guys as early as 12 or 13 when you were trying to explore your sexuality....We all go through those stages in life, when we play house with our friends because we want to know about this thing called sex.....The problem is, you became stuck there in your state of confusion regarding your sexuality and thought that playing Doctor with your guy friends was the ';NORM';.....Your friends continued to grow and found girls more fascinating, you did not because you were not ready for this phase....
So, stop saying that you cannot change this about you....We have the power to speak negativity into existance and what you should be saying is that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you...God has said that homosexuality is an adbomination and is wrong and sinful, and we cannot change that but we can try our best to conform to God's Will and it can be done if we allow God to remove our stains, spots and imperfections....We have to Trust that God knows how to fix it in our lives.....I truly wish you well and pray that you receive what I am trying to relay to you..

Before I say anything else, I need to point out that I'm not a Christian. However, all my Christian friends pretty much say these kinds of things in response to these questions:
1) Consider the logic of a perfect God of love, who made you how you are, in HIS images, and hates you for it. Seriously: Logic-fail.
2)345, 600 people die of starvation in Africa every day and the government turns away aid workers, 1479 people die from cancer every day and 3483 new people are diagnosed with it and there is no cure, the Middle East is still war-torn, there have been more than and 1.3 million excess deaths in the ';Bush War'; and that number is rising!
Trust me, your sexuality is the least of God's troubles.
3) I just have to repeat: You were made in the image of the perfect God of Love! You are his masterpiece, his child, his creation, his perfection. Stop trying to change, there's nothing wrong with you! Maybe this is God's way of saying 'You are made in My perfect image, why do you doubt yourself?' Maybe its just another lesson you need to learn to better do God's will.

The world wants to change God's words and meanings into something more suitable to its sinful desires. Nevertheless, the truth stands: The Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin.

Rom. 1:26-28, ';For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.';
Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.
Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible. It needs to be laid at the cross, repented of, and never done again.
dear friend, if you are attracted to other men, then abstinence is the answer. being gay is not sinful, unless you act on it. it's the act of homosexual union that is sinful. each of us is born with a propensity for certain sins. the devil knows what sins to tempt us with. he does not tempt me to have homosexual sex because i don't have that propensity. he tempts me with other things. only through Christ are we able to have power over sin and repent, regardless of what our sins are. this does not mean you will never sin again, of course. we are human and we all sin right up til the time we die. but to live a lifestyle of sin and refuse to give it up, that's where we get into trouble, because we have not truly repented. even a repented Christian, may ';fall off the wagon'; now and then. and God not only understands that, He forgives. but if we choose to ignore His word and live however we want, sinning as a way of life, we will not inherit the Kingdom.

The story of sodom and gomorrah isn't about homosexuality - its about violence to strangers. the people of s%26amp;g were like modern day gangs, out to prove their gang loyalty and out to scare people from ever wanting to visit s%26amp;g - a violent message to surrounding towns and a warped way to insure their own safety. the people of s%26amp;g weren't wise, but they were probably scared of outsiders themselves. What better way to accomplish all of their goals than to rape - it destroys a person's identity, sense of safety, and is a horrible violation.

The Jewish scriptures have retained their progression from rituals like sacrifice to feed the gods, to animal sacrifice to feed the poor and priests and share a feast. Its a historical progression. the several passages of 'don't lay with a man as with a woman' can be open to many interpretations. Judaism is all about worry over contamination, in our time, we have soap and water, which they did not thousands of years ago. anything that caused contamination and made people ill was considered a bad thing, and their primitive food handling 'laws' are almost mirrored in modern food handling 'laws.',
Gay people are NOT rapists, they feel love. You feel love and no one has a right to force an identity upon you. You are an individual with your own individual right to express yourself and to find love as any other person.

Here's the real good news, the old testament is false - it is a mistranslation of Jewish scirpture. sheol means 'grave' NOT hell. demon means imaginary (deuteronomy 'they sacrificed to demons, no gods), devil means bad person, as in people who persecute gays are devils.
don't hurt yourself, live and make a difference for future generations of teenagers who struggle with their identity as a gay individual. treat yourself with respect, don't date drug addicts and sluts, wear a condom, be good to yourself, and find a place where you are accepted like a nice city with a healthy gay population. :)
I don't know if I have the time or knowledge to answer this question as completely as it needs to be but I will try. I hope you will continue reading it to the end.
What you are dealing with is a proclivity, not an orientation. Some guys are attracted to large women, some guys like are attracted to skinny women. That does not mean it would be impossible for either to have a loving relationship with the opposite of the type of woman they are most attracted to. Some guys are attracted to other guys. That is to say, due to a combination of things that are a result of inborn factors, so to speak, and the type of experiences you have had in as you matured you find people of the same sex attractive.
Now lets examine this proclivity in the light of Jesus' teachings. Jesus taught that we are to ';love one another'; and that we are to ';love our neighbor as ourselves'; and that we are to ';fulfill the royal law according to Scripture'; the law of loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Jesus teaches that all sexual practices other than the sexual practice of lifelong sexual activity with only a person of the opposite sex with whom we have united in marriage falls short of His description of love. (love is patient, love is kind, love does not seek its own way, love seeks what is truly best for the other person). So encouraging or permitting by our own actions another person to engage in sexual activity outside of Jesus' teachings is falling short of living our lives fulfilling the royal law of love. As far as eternal condemnation to Hell is concerned, that is for Jesus to pass judgment. ';The Father Himself judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son.'; (He didn't say ...to the Son and (my name) so I'm going to leave it all with the Son. However, Jesus does teach that ';he who does not love, does not know God, for God is love'; and He did say He will say to many in the judgment ';I never knew you, depart from Me you who work iniquity.'; In light of that, I would want to conduct my life fulfilling the royal law of love as I consider my eternal destiny.
So, concerning your particular proclivity and how it falls short of fulfilling the royal law of love I would like to compare it to another proclivity that many men deal with, that of heterosexual promiscuity. This is a proclivity or inclination that many men experience. Due to a combination of inborn factors, so to speak, and experiences they received while they matured many men like to have sex with as many women as possible. Living in this way falls short of fulfilling the royal law of love. While a person could certainly TRY, TRY EVERYDAY to change from this lifestyle achieving success would be extremely unlikely. So here is what Jesus said to both the person striving to fulfill the royal law of love but dealing with a homosexual proclivity or a heterosexual proclivity:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and My burden is light.';
Jesus asks not that a person, through their own strength and efforts, live lives of love toward others, but that they turn their lives completely over to Him. In so doing, Jesus promises to provide grace and power for each person to live lives of love toward others. In fact, He says that when we allow Him to empower us we find the burden to be light.
Of course, if a person would choose to reject Jesus and to reject the grace He offers and choose to live a life harming and exploiting others for their own gratification...
Well, I seek to not stand before Jesus in the judgment with that type of life being the life for which I must give an account.
God doesn't make people gay. That would be saying God purposely makes people handicap, disabled or physically deformed at birth.
God made you as you are for His purpose. You can either accept what is, or spend most of your life trying to change (without success) what God has made. THAT choice is up to you. Nobody else can make it, because nobody has to live in your shoes with your thoughts. Listen to God. He will tell you what is right for your life. What is right for you may not be right for someone else, so you cannot rely on anyone else telling you what God wants for you... they have no way of knowing unless they are a true prophet of God (which do not exist today). God knew you before you were conceived, and created you exactly as He wanted you to be. Rejoice at all the gifts He has given you, including homosexuality (if that is the case), and use them to praise His name.
Only those who reject Christ as the Savior will not be saved. You can be gay and still follow Christ.
I don't think God hands out tickets to Hell quite so readily and it really disturbs me when people point fingers and try to say who is and who isn't going to Hell. I mean, who the frell do they think they are? Only God gets to decide who goes to hell!
Read your bible, did Jesus say anything about being gay? In fact, is there anything in the New Testament that refers to homosexuality at all?
Either way, I would like to think that as long as you are are good person and bring no harm or foul to others, God will make room for you in Heaven.
And as far as being gay its self is concerned, that's your business. Anyone who judges you is them self committing a sin. You have to live your life as you see fit, it's the ONLY way you'll ever find happiness!
I am telling you right here and right now, if you force yourself into a life that others think is right for you, you will no longer be YOU! You need to find the courage and strength to do what is best for yourself. I don't think that the ';challenge'; God gave you is being gay, the challenge is for you to find away to come to terms with who you are and what you believe. Things seem confusing for you now because all your life (thus far) you have been living by the rules of some one else, and you have become accustomed to it. Now you are becoming your own man, you are starting to question things, and this is good because it helps you flesh out who you really are.
Perhaps the question you should be asking is, if God is real, and loves you, and wants you to be happy, and wants to talk to you, why hasn't he answered this question for you yet?
And also why are there millions of starving children.
