my files were shown in ascending order 1,2,3,4,5, etc. now they're in descending order no big prob but annoying , anyone know how to change them back in windows 7.

sort them by name and they will be back in order.
In Windows Explorer go to View - Sort By.
Right click on backround of file window, hover over ';sort by/view by'; and click which one you think they were being sorted by. If they were sorted by date, e.g. all new photos were at the bottom and so on, then click ';modified'; or ';by date';. However if they were sorted by name, as in numbers at top, then a, b, c and so on, then click that.
