Okay so i have this old toshiba tv. Every time i go to change the channel it scans through the channels kind of like the radio when you press scan. It won't stop doing it i was wondering if anyone knows how to stop it thank youWhy does my tv scan channels?
Try connecting a analog signal to the antenna jack.

Have you turned it on and let it do a full scan without trying to turn the channel before it is done?
Some tv's are made to do a channel search at first
