How old do you have to be to change your last name?

I wanted to change mine from my father's to my mother's. and do you know if it's a difficult process? How old do you have to be to change your last name?
18. i think you can change it anytime, but then you have to get your parents permission and go to court and tell them why you want to change your name. If you're 18 then i think it's pretty easy though. How old do you have to be to change your last name?
you have to be 18
Eighteen I believe, and yes it's probably pretty difficult as there are a lot of personal records that you're going to have to go back and alter to match your new name.
18 i think but it is a difficult process with all the paper work and like yea
The Other Guys Right Its 18
usually 18 but you can have parents consent as well.
You can be any age with your parents' permission. On your own, 18.
if you have parental permission you can change it earlier
I got it changed at 16 with my mother.
You don't have to be a certain age. Is your mom your real mom? If so then I'm pretty sure you can get it changed with her permission. If she isn't your real mom she can adopt you and you can change it then. Although I'm pretty sure she's your real mom.
18

You count as an adult then, so yeah.
18

All I know is that you don't have to be a certain age. To change your whole name is like $20, I imagine its a difficult process.

....Seriously.

BEAT IT!
Eighteen, but your mother could change it for you if you're not old enough.

The younger you are, the easier the process typically will be because you'll have less to work out - for example, most minors would just have to change their legal documentation and notify their school, while adults typically have their names filed away in a lot more places - contracts, credit cards, documents of ownership, etc.
Any age you want to be as long as your married (only works for girls)
